EVERYONE NEEDS A BUG OUT BAG, because you never know when disaster will strike, better be safe than sorry, and so on and so forth. It's generally a good idea to plan your survival for three days, because according to the Heritage Foundation, "it takes an average of 72 hours for state and federal governments to respond." Of course, if you know me at all, I would never recommend putting your life or survival in the hands of any governmental institution, and so if you have the funds and the means to do so, plan continually, stock as much food and clean water as you can, etc. This will be a good starting point, though. Thanks to Primal Survivor for this checklist, and for providing a downloadable PDF for your convenience (by downloading the PDF from this post, you won't have to provide Primal Survivor with your email address).
